About the Purdue University Center for Cancer Research

At the Purdue University Center for Cancer Researchr, we believe everyone should have a chance to see dreams come true. Since our establishment in 1978, our researchers have focused single mindedly on this belief, bringing together their nationally recognized strengths in engineering and chemical and biological sciences. Researchers are noted experts in their fields, drawing from 15 departments and 6 colleges/schools at Purdue University. We are ranked among the world’s top basic cancer research centers.

Through funding from the National Cancer Institute and other organizations, we provide a forum for 76 of Purdue’s best and brightest scientists to collaborate across campus and nationwide. Our goals are the same as yours: to prevent cancer, to ease its detection, and to cure it.
