PURDUE UNIVERSITY CENTER FOR CANCER RESEARCH
Call for Proposals

INNOVATIVE CANCER RESEARCH
PILOT PROJECTS

Due July 21, 2009

The Purdue University Center for Cancer Research invites applications for cancer-focused innovative, idea grants from single investigators and collaborative teams. These awards are made possible through the philanthropic gifts of the Indiana Elks Charities, Inc. Proposals will be funded at a level appropriate for the proposed work, but will not exceed $30,000. To facilitate funding a larger number of proposals, it is anticipated that where appropriate, proposals may be partially funded or funded in increments to support attainment of specific milestones within the proposal. Recipients of incremental funding may apply for additional funding following successful achievement of the initial milestone.

  • Quality of science or technology
  • Cancer relevance
  • Potential to result in external peer-reviewed funding and publications
