Welcome to the homepage of the College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Health Sciences at Purdue University. We are the primary unit on campus with a learning, discovery, and engagement mission that is focused on human health. We educate students who will serve society in three broad areas:
- As health professionals who will deliver health care
- As professionals who will assure a healthy work environment
- As scientists who will investigate the mechanisms of human disease and develop new therapies
The over 2700 students enrolled in our various programs in the College are educated by a dedicated faculty who are committed to student success. With almost 300 faculty and staff, the College provides a rich environment for preparing students to make a positive impact on the world in which they live. Whether it is through our partnership providing pharmaceutical care to AIDS patients in Kenya, delivering compassionate nursing care in Nicaragua, or understanding the public health impact of AIDS in India, our programs provide students with the opportunity to expand their horizons far beyond the walls of a classroom.
Through the discovery of new medicines, redesign of operating room procedures to enhance patient safety, development of diagnostic tools to identify early chemical toxicity in factory workers, and a host of other scholarly endeavors, our faculty are developing real world solutions for today's societal problems. It is these dedicated faculty who engage the students of today to mold the leaders of tomorrow.
We invite you to explore our programs through this electronic medium to learn how we can help you to launch your future!
Hail Purdue!
